6. Royal Mail
The rise of internet shopping and an increase in parcel deliveries has helped protect Royal Mail from a decline in letter sending Forrest says.
Christmas is the most important time of the year for the delivery firm and it looks set to benefit from the millions of cards and gifts that pass through sorting offices.
Forrest explains: “The group’s full year results weigh very heavily on its performance over the festive season so the company will be doing all it can to deal with the higher volume and demand.”
